OPINION | THE GREAT VERDICT; EYITAYO JEGEDE IS NOT AN OPTION FOR ONDO STATE Alade Monday

I have consistently maintained that Dr. Olusegun Mimiko can be dislodged. He is a human. The Justice Abang verdict invalidating the candidacy of Eyitayo Jegede is just a tip of the iceberg.

Although, I will never vote for Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim if you care to know but, I am quite fascinated by him joining the Ondo State gubernatorial race.

It is no longer a news that if Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim is confronted by two enemies with one being a huge snake with seven heads and the other being Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, he Jimoh Ibrahim will choose to Kill Dr. Olusegun Mimiko first before thinking about the snake if at all.

This is the image that Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has created for himself due to his penchant for deceit, biting the finger that fed him, greediness and the politics of winner take all that characterized his style of politics.

This is how dangerous and scary Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is. Mind you, I am not saying this to cast aspersions as my big brother, uncle Felix Olatunde , once accused me of. A cursory look at the poverty, suffering, hardship and youth unrest emanating from lack of employment that permeate the length and breath of Ondo State since 2008 till date, any right thinking human being who truly love and care about humanity will definitely feel revulsion.

Dr. Olusegun Mimiko saw this ignominious condition of our people sadly, they meant nothing to him, he refused to do something to help and instead he continued to make it tougher by refusing to pay workers salaries. He was more inclined to wasting our resources that he unscrupulously stole from us to ensure that Eyitayo Jegede succeed him so that he can cover up his crimes and sins when he finally bow of Alagabaka. This is a sacrilege on our land. An abominable act that must be condemned in its entirety.

People, if this act by Mimiko is not satanic, diabolical, devilish and wickedness of the highest order, I wonder what else to call it.

Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is brain that produced and imposed Eyitayo Jegede. They are inextricably responsible for the problem of Ondo State and its people. This is the very reason I maintained that Eyitayo Jegede is a bad choice and he will continue to be a bad choice.

Thank God for the good men and women that God have used to resist the evils of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and Eyitayo Jegede so far. I thank the Nigerian Judiciary for upholding justice and I thank justice Okon Abang for his verdict. By his verdict, he rekindled hopes and gave the Nigerian Judiciary a face lift.

It is a sure sign that our creator is still much interested in Ondo State and its people.
