Government stops kerosene subsidy payment - Economy

According to the newly released pricing template for House Hold
Kerosene of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA),
kerosene will now sell at will now sell for N83.

This is coming after the Federal Government declared that it shall no
longer continue payment of subsidy on kerosene.

The new template released the PPPRA showed that the retail or pump
price of kerosene was now N10.72 higher than the Expected Open Market
Price of the commodity.

This change will no doubt cause a lot of inconvenience, as a majority
of the country's population rely on kerosene, especially for domestic
use.
