AAUA Announces Matriculation Ceremony for 2015/2016 Session -Education

The University management on the 12th of February released a circular
announcing the date of matriculation for 2015/16 Session.

The content of the circular :
This serve to inform all freshers that Matriculation ceremony for
2015/2016 session comes up on Tuesday 23rd FEBRUARY 2016.

All freshers are enjoined to note the following

i) Fresh students should endeavour to complete all registration
formalities before Matriculation day.

ii) All matriculating students should collect Academic gowns and caps
from their respective Faculty Officers between Friday February 19,
2016 and Monday February 22, 2016.

Upon presentation of receipt for payment of 1000 naira to the bursary.
The amount is made up of #800 hiring fee and #200 caution fee, which
is refundable upon the return of the academic gown in good conditio

iii) In addition, Matriculating students are to present their health
centre registration card as well as the Central screening clearance
before they could be issued with the matriculation gowns.

IV) It is compulsory for all fresh students to attend the ceremony,
dress properly in English outfits, read personally the matriculation
oath, sign and submit the same; and also sign the matriculation
register immediately after the ceremony.

The Academic gowns and cap should be returned to the various point of
collection on or before Thursday,February 25,2016.
Late submission of Academic Gown and cap attracts a penalty fee of
200naira per day of default for a maximum of two weeks (weekend's
inclusive).

Failure to return the academic gown and cap after two weeks will
attract payment of the full cost of #10000 for the Academic Gowns
while defaulters would be made to face the Students' Disciplinary
Committee.
Please consider the above points as very important and ensure compliance.
